Let's not cross our fingers and hope for the best when you reply to a text message. It's time to be super vigilant about your personal online security and more aware of cyber-scammers. When in doubt, question it. If you are unsure, google and then call the agency in question yourself. Big companies won't send you a text asking for personal information or you to verify something out of the blue if you haven't instigated it.

The ATO is cracking down on scammers and wants you to report anything that seems suspicious.
